Blood And Mutiny
Seven weeks on open sea
The captain tests our loyalty,
Seeks refuge from his enemies,
The wind cries “Blood and Mutiny!”
All day we doze and long for shade,
All night the storm keeps us awake.
Oh Lord, don’t let him seal our fate,
We’re knocking on the devil’s gate.
A Buccaneer under unknown flag,
This floating coffin holds no swag,
Encouraged by the rum we drank
We‘ll let this bastard walk the plank.
And feed him to the sharks around
His rotting carcass won’t be found.
His soul will be forever bound,
‘Cause we’re humming curses and they sound like…
Chorus:
Heiheidadeidadei....
I knew one day the tide would turn,
The crew would rise to see him burn,
“Oh Mercy Lord!” he cries and yearns,
But that’s no more of our concern.
Even the first mate turned his tide,
Long time ago he sold his pride,
He lost it one fine gambling night
And risked his life in every fight
Chorus:
Heiheidadeidadei....
My lungs are filled with cannon smoke,
My body is all numb and broke,
I hear the reaper laugh and joke
Those coins will pay the passage boat.
I come to rest in Mary’s bed
Forget the nightmares in my head;
Lay down forever in the land
Of the Dead and that ol’ pirate band goes…
Chorus:
Heiheidadeidadei....
